"Building spaces of love and happy minds"

A Special Note from my heart to Yours

I'm Puja Kedia, and like many of you, I've watched the world through the eyes of love—wondering why some spaces welcome all children while others seem built for only a chosen few.

The spark for Skylime came during a quiet evening watching Netflix's "Down With Love". I found myself captivated not by the storyline, but by a deeper realization: children with Down syndrome, autism, and other neurodivergent conditions constantly adjust themselves to fit into spaces that weren't designed for them. They mask their true selves to make others comfortable, missing out on the pure, unfiltered joy of childhood.

That night, I ordered books on Amazon and dove into personal stories of 10-12 year olds navigating a world that often misunderstands them. Each story broke my heart and fired my determination: What have these beautiful children done wrong to miss out on the simple joy of play?

My research revealed a glaring gap. While India has special schools and therapy centers, there's virtually no concept of recreational play spaces designed specifically for neurodivergent children. We have hundreds of play areas for typical children, but where can a child with autism feel truly safe to stim? Where can a child with Down syndrome play without stares or whispers?

Skylime isn't just a play space—it's a movement toward radical acceptance. We're creating India's first recreational environment where neurodivergent children don't need to adapt; instead, the space adapts to them.

Every corner of Skylime is designed with intention. From sensory-friendly lighting to quiet regulation zones, from wheelchair accessibility to trained staff—we're building a sanctuary where "different" isn't just accepted, it's celebrated.

But this isn't just about the children. We're creating a community for you, the parents who've felt isolated, judged, or misunderstood. Our café isn't just about coffee—it's about finding your tribe, sharing experiences, and knowing you're not alone in this beautiful, challenging journey.

Skylime represents my deepest belief: every child deserves to shine exactly as they are. We're not here to fix, change, or normalize anyone. We're here to create joy, foster connection, and build a world where neurodiversity is seen as the gift it truly is.

Join us in reimagining what childhood joy can look like when we lead with love, acceptance, and understanding.
